THE NETHERLANDS – A survey by the Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa) has revealed that consumers are still dissatisfied with the way energy companies handle their complaints.
Out of country’s ten big energy companies, only Essent was rated Satisfactory (6).
All the other companies scored an average of 5.2.
However, this is an improvement on 2007, when the average rating was 4.7 and on 2006, when it was only 4.3.
Consumers admit they now get to hear what’s being done with their complaint a little quicker.
And energy companies have said that they want to cooperate on a plan to improve matters.
