European aircraft manufacturer Airbus said Thursday that Hawaiian Airlines has ordered five more long-haul A330-200 planes, worth $1.0 billion at list prices.

In 2010, the US airline ordered six of the aircraft.

Hawaiian Airlines said the new aircraft, to be delivered over the next four years, will allow it to expand its network and replace its Boeing 767-300 planes.
