PARIS, Jan 13 (AFP) - Four unions at the French state-owned rail operator SNCF called Tuesday for a national strike on Wednesday January 21 in a dispute over salaries and jobs.
They said a one percent pay increase offered by management was insufficient. Three other unions declined to join the strike call.
