PARIS, Feb 2 (AFP) – French industrial manufacturing activity expanded in January for the fourth straight month, a study by an association of supply and purchasing managers (CDAF) revealed Monday.
It said its manufacturing index came to 53.5 in January after 51.9 in December, 52.7 in November and 51.0 in October.
A measurement of more than 50 indicates expansion in the manufacturing sector.
