Clermont Ferrand concert bomb alert

CLERMONT FERRAND, France, April 11 (AFP) – More than 2,000 people attending a concert of north African music in central France were evacuated following a bomb alert, police said on Sunday.

Police evacuated the concert hall in the city of Clermont Ferrand late Saturday after receiving an anonymous telephone call, but their search uncovered nothing unusual.

An investigation has been opened, police said.
