Was it a Rover?

2 April 2004

KAISERSLAUTEN – A dog drove his master’s car into a ravine in Germany, police said Friday.

The driver had stopped at the edge of a forest and left the car with the engine running while he stretched his legs.

His terrier bounded into the driver’s seat and managed to nudge the gear stick into “drive”.

The driver found his badly dented car at the bottom of a 20-metre ravine.

The canine car driver was unharmed, police said.
