PFARRKIRCHEN, GERMANY – A Catholic priest got more than he expected when a sinner handed him a cache of illegal weapons during a confessional, police said Monday.
A sub-machine gun, a hand grenade and ammunition were given to the priest during the confession in southern Bavaria state, said police.
The priest, maintaining his holy vow not to reveal the sinner, declined to name the man to the authorities.
