BERLIN – A 32-year-old female American expat has been killed in a bicycle accident in Berlin.
According to a report in the Tagesspiegel newspaper, the accident happened at around 7:30am on Thursday. The woman was riding along the cycle path on Tempelhofer Damm in Berlin’s Tempelhof district when she was hit by a truck turning right. The woman was riding across a street on a green light, but the driver apparently had not seen her.
The woman died of her injuries at the scene of the accident.
