MAINZ – Germany’s biggest-ever trial against Hell’s Angels biker club members ended Wednesday when a court slapped stiff prison sentences on 11 defendants.
Prison terms of up to eight years on an array of drugs, procurement and assault charges capped the year-long trial before a court in Mainz.
In all the defendants were found guilty of 99 charges. In a bid to expedite justice, the defence and prosecution agreed to drop charges of conspiring to create an organized crime syndicate.
