HAMBURG – A growing number of people in Germany are making use of car sharing with one car being used by an average of 27.3 drivers at the start of this year compared to 25.2 drivers the previous year, the Federal Association of CarSharing announced.
In total some 68,500 people were registered with car sharing agencies that offered a total of 2,500 vehicles. Car sharing was being offered in 258 towns and cities, the association said.
