Bride goes on rampage at registry office

HOF – A heavily intoxicated bride went on the rampage at a German registry office after her intended husband refused to take the marriage vows, police said Sunday.

The 44-year-old bride lost her temper when the bridegroom turned her down at the ceremony in the Bavarian town of Hof Saturday.

She was taken to a police station where a blood test showed she was five times over the legal drink-drive limit. The wedding has been postponed indefinitely, police said.
