Big demand for German Euro 2004 tickets

FRANKFURT – Some 80,000 requests were made for 5,000 group stage ticket packages for the German matches at Euro 2004, the German football federation DFB said.

The DFB said that the high demand forced them to conduct a lottery for the tickets which has by now been completed.

The packages for the games with the Netherlands, Czech Republic and Latvia at the 12 June- 4 July finals in Portugal ranked from EUR 105-300.

Those who did not get a package still have the chance to obtain some of the 3,000 extra tickets for the Netherlands game or 2,000 additional tickets on offer for the Czech game.
