Unions and Post delay talks

24 May 2007

BRUSSELS – The talks between trade unions and management at De Post which were scheduled for today have been postponed to next week, according to secretary at trade union ACV Lieve Van Overbeke.

It was decided to delay the talks because of the national strike by postal workers planned for tomorrow.

The plan now is to meet as early as possible next week to discuss the problems at the postal company, Van Overbeke said.

The exact negotiation agenda will be announced in more detail this afternoon.
