BRUSSELS (AP) – A bus carrying British tourists collided with a passenger car and hit a home on the Belgian coast, injuring 23 people, five seriously, authorities said Sunday.
Two people in the car and another two in the house were slightly injured, while 19 people on the bus were hurt, officials said. The accident happened just before noon in Middelkerke close to Ostend, some 120 km west of Brussels. The bus was carrying 35 British tourists.
The injured were taken to hospitals close to Ostend and nearby Bruges, authorities said.
