BRUSSELS – The public prosecution department in Brussels is investigating a case in which a 19-year-old Frenchwoman was reportedly locked up, tortured and raped after refusing to work as a prostitute.

The woman says she was raped at the station in Charleroi and then tortured, locked up and starved by her captors for 8 days somewhere in Brussels.

The police in Brussels found her near the Noord station. She weighed hardly 40 kilos when found.
