VIDEO – EU clamps down on doctors working hours

1/02/11 – Long working hours at a theatre in Ghent University Hospital. The EU says that these are endangering patients safety. Fresh legislation now enacted in Belgium limits working hours but hospitals fear they won’t be able to organise their work properly any longer.
