KORTRIJK – The remains of two individuals were found in a terraced house on the Doorniksewijk in Kortrijk, police in the Vlas area have reported. A woman who came to visit the residents made the unfortunate discovery.

It is not clear how the two died. They may have been dead since last Wednesday. Neighbours say they heard a loud argument in the home at that point.

The public prosecution department is investigating the home. A forensic investigator will carry out a thorough autopsy on the bodies.
