Train strike ended

BRUSSELS – The strike by train drivers in Oudenaarde was ended this morning at about 8.50 am, rail infrastructure manager Infrabel announced today.

Some thirty trains did not leave the yard as a result of the strike. Everything is being done to make sure that the trains during the evening rush hour run on schedule. There could still be delays in the course of the day.

The train drivers in Oudenaarde went on strike to protest the urgent shortage of staff.
