BRUSSELS – Several thousand public health and other services workers took to the streets of Brussels on Thursday to protest their working conditions.

No official figures have been released but the coalition of unions known as SETCa-CNE-CGSLB stressed the high level of participation of its members.

A Brussels hospital strike coincided with the demonstration.
