Thousands of Belgians have two or more jobs

BRUSSELS – Nearly a quarter of a million Belgian workers have more than one job, it was announced on Monday.
In a written answser to a parliamentary question, Employment Minister Freya Van den Bossche said that just under 240,000
Belgian workers, or one in 15, had more than one job.
Broken down, the overall fugure showed that there are 18,000 people with at least two jobs in Brussels, 150,000 in Flanders and 71,000 in Wallonia.
The figures date from 1999, Van den Bossche added.
