Summit to affect Brussels traffic

BRUSSELS – Traffic in Brussels’ European quarter will be seriously disrupted by security measures at the EU summit meeting being held in the Council of Ministers’ headquarters.

From around 4.30 pm on Thursday afternoon until the end of Friday an area around Rond Point Schuman will be closed to all but shop owners, residents, people working in the area or any other people with specific authorisation from the police.

The security permiter will include Rue Archimede, Rue Stevin, Avenue D’Auderghem, Rue Froissart, Avenue Cortenberg, Rue Breydel and the top segement of Rue de la Loi.
