Sport hobbles Belgian workforce

BRUSSELS – Around 15,000 Belgians are unable to work due to sporting injuries, it was reported on Tuesday.

The startling statistics have emerged from a report by the Dutch investigation bureau TNO Arbeid.

The study also concludes that Belgians spend an average 30 minutes a day in sporting activities.

This places them above the European average.
