Three masked, armed men entered the shop and struck the shop owner in the face with a weapon. The victim was then tied up.

The robbers took all the money in the till, a total of EUR 47,000. They also took a mobile phone and the keys to an Audi A6 and used the car to flee the scene. A police patrol found the vehicle in Anderlecht later on. The perpetrators had already escaped on foot.
