BRUSSELS – The local police in Bilzen have arrested a man who has confessed to the rape of two girls aged 13 and 14.
The 23-year-old Antwerp man met the girls in a chatroom online and had contact with girls throughout Flanders. He raped at least 10 girls.
The serial rapist posed as a 17-year-old. He met underage girls online and then tried to get them to meet in person. He would come to meet the girls near their home.
The local authorities in Bilzan tracked down the perpetrator. He was arrested last Friday and confessed to a number of offences. The police are still tracking down other victims.
