Python found on supermarket car park

A one and a half meter royal python lay curled up in between cars on the store’s car park.

The snake is believed to have been dumped by its owners.

The unfortunate reptile was dead. It had injuries consistent with having been run over by a car or motorcycle.

It is likely that the snake was still alive when it was dumped by its owners.

A reptile expert was called to remove the dead snake from the car park.

Royal pythons are constrictor snakes. Their diet consists primarily of rats, mice and other small mammals.

They are not dangerous to humans.
