BRUSSELS — Some 8,000 protestors took to the streets of Brussels on Sunday to demonstrate against the Israeli offensive in Lebanon.
The protestors marched from the Brussels North station to the Pachecolaan.
Many of them were carrying Lebanese or Palestinian flags, news service VRT reported.
Several chanted support for the militant organisations Hamas and Hezbollah.
The protestors urged the international community to impose an immediate ceasefire on Israel.
The protest passed off without incident.
A similar protest was held last week as well, when about 4,000 protestors marched through Brussels.
