Prison officer bullied by colleagues

On Friday morning, the Christian Trades Union of which the victim is a member released news of an incident that happened on Sunday evening.

The victim is a 26-year-old woman. Her colleagues drenched her with ketchup, mustard and mayonnaise on what was her last day working at the prison. She had asked to be transferred after having suffered at the hands of bullies in the past.

Sunday evening’s incident happened shortly before the end of her shift , after which she was to leave Berkendaal for the last time.

The Christian Trades Union says that the woman’s forewoman was also involved in Sunday evening’s incident. The forewoman is reported to have been suspended pending an investigation.

The entire incident was filmed by CCTV cameras. The victim has lodged a complaint against the workplace bullies with the police.
