BRUSSELS – A Brussels lawyers was taken in by police after a Panorama documentary on paedophiles who go after children online. The married man offered an actress posing as a 13-year-old 300 euro to act in a porn film.
The 43-year-old corporate lawyer was released after questioning. “He cannot be charged because the actress actually is of age. But the investigation into child pornography on the computers that have been confiscated is still ongoing,” said spokesperson for the Brussels public prosecution department Jos Colpin. The investigation into two other men continues.
The lawyer, a married man who has been working at the renowned Liedekerke-Wolters-Waelbroeck-Kirkpatrick firm, handed in his resignation immediately after he was released by the authorities.
