OSTEND – The maritime historical event Ostend at Anchor drew a total of 230,000 visitors over the holiday weekend, according to figures from the Ostend tourism office.
The hotels in the coastal resort were all fully booked over the weekend. A total of 136 ships were on display at the event this year.
The sea tours on board A-class ships the Artemis, Atlantis, Thalassa and Mercedes drew 5,000 participants.
