BRUSSELS — The Belgian Foreign Ministry said at 4pm on Thursday it was unaware of any Belgian victims in the London terrorist attack.

However, the ministry was advising Belgian residents against travelling to London, news agency ‘Belga’ reported.

Nevertheless, flights from Belgium to London and Eurostar trains from Brussels are running as normal.

Eurostar advised passengers not to travel to London unless their journey was absolutely necessary.

An information line has been set up for Belgian residents. It will be available from 5-10pm on Thursday and from 9am to 5pm on Friday.

The number is 02 501 4001 (Dutch language) and 02 501 4000 (French language).

British police have set up a number for people who have not heard from family or friends: 0870 156 6344.

The Belgian foreign ministry advised the public to visit its website before calling the information line. The website is www.diplomatie.be.

There are about 3,000 Belgians living in the British capital.
