Memorial mass for Madrid victims

BRUSSELS – A memorial mass for the victims of last week’s terror attacks in Madrid will take place in Brussels on Friday, Belgian news agency Belga reported on Tuesday.

The Roman Catholic service has been organised by Brussels’ Spanish community and will be held at 7pm in the Saints Michel and Gudule cathedral.

The service will be celebrated by Monsignor Jozef De Kesel and Spanish priest Monsignor Sainz Munos will also attend.

The city’s Spanish community says all are welcome at the mass.

The latest toll from the Madrid attacks is 201 people dead and over 1, 400 injured.
