BRUSSELS – Police arrested a man carrying 2.2 kg of Ecstasy pills at Zaventem airport this morning. The public prosecution department in Brussels has announced this. The drug runner was trying to get on a flight to Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The man was required to submit a urine sample as well, which tested positive for cocaine. The authorities say they strongly suspect he may have been trying to smuggle other drugs internally. The investigation is ongoing.
