The former tennis player Kim Clijsters has given birth to a baby girl. Jada Elly weighs in at 3.035 kg and was born at the AZ Vesalius Hospital (photo) in the Limburg town of Hasselt at 1:35pm on Wednesday afternoon.
The hospital management isn’t giving too much away about its special patients.
Kim Clijsters retired from professional tennis in May 2007.
Two months later, Clijsters married the American basketball player Bryan Lynch in a fairytale wedding.
Lynch plays for the Clijsters family’s local basketball team Bree (Limburg province).
Brian Lynch is reported to be delighted with the birth of his daughter.
He has told friends that it’s great that he will soon be able to learn Dutch with her.
