BRUSSELS – Six illegal immigrants have been caught by the Belgian police in the back of a Dutch lorry in Westkapelle, Knokke-Heist.
The lorry had just left the port of Zeebrugge and was heading towards Zeeland in the Netherlands.
The driver alerted police when he heard noises coming from the trailer.
Six Asian illegal immigrants had entered the vehicle when it was in the dock.
They are believed to have wanted to go to the UK but climbed into the wrong lorry.
