Four injuries in school bus collision

BRUSSELS — Four people were injured when a school bus and a car collided in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw at about 8.05am on Wednesday.

The driver of the car was taken to hospital in a critical condition. All three other victims were traveling in the car also.

No children were reported hurt in the accident, police commissioner Ivan Vanophem.

The private school bus was travelling from Halle to Lennik on the Pelikaanberg when two vehicles came out of an adjacent street.

The first vehicle avoided the bus, but the second car collided with school bus, newspaper ‘Het Laatste Nieuws’ reported.

Two injured victims were taken to the Halle hospital, while two others were taken to the Erasmus Hospital.
