Saint Nicholas sent news of the date of his arrival by telegramme from Spain, where he spends the rest of the year. His arrival by boat will be televised by national TV.

The saint accompanied by his faithful servant Black Peter will be welcomed by the Mayor of Antwerp, Bart De Wever. He will then proceed from his mooring to Antwerp’s market square where he will address children from the balcony of city hall. Large crowds are expected and everybody is welcome!
