He noticed the abandoned child when driving through the city of Sint-Truiden (Limburg). The child was taken to hospital.
When the driver noticed the new-born child, he stopped, got out of his vehicle and took the baby on the bus.
“It’s an unreal story. The driver took the child on the bus and waited until police and a medical team arrived. The infant was next taken to hospital”, explains Sonja Deloos, the spokeswoman for De Lijn in Limburg. “The incident happened on the city line S2 at the Heide Street.”
