Cocaine use doubles in 5 yrs

BRUSSELS – Cocaine use in Belgium has doubled over the past five years, Flemish Christian democrat CD&V MP Tony Van Parys said during a meeting of the standing justice committee on Wednesday.

He announced the figures relating to Belgium from the not-yet-published annual report for 2007 from Europol on the drug trade.
