BRUSSELS — A Denderhoutem café team of six won 1,158,243 euros in the Lottotrekking game last weekend.
The Café Torenhof team was started only a couple months ago. It consists of three full-time café staff members and three regular clients.
“We filled out the form for the third time. This time with luck”, said cafe owner Marnix Sienaert, one of the players.
The team went to Brussels yesterday to collect their prize.
