Brussels parks closed due to winds

The Department  for the Environment in Brussels has decided to close the parks due to gale force winds.

Authorities have advised people to stay clear of areas where there are trees- both in parks and other locations.

The authorities have made a special plea to avoid parks that cannot be closed off hermetically. Gale force winds and storms are expected to cause considerable damage.
