BRUSSELS – Four masked men with machine guns robbed Brussels casino on Sunday morning. They got away with EUR 820,000.
There were some 50 patrons and 100 staff at the casino when the robbery took place. No shots were fired. The whole operation took less than three minutes.
This is the first time that the casino has fallen victim to an armed robbery. The casino opened its doors in January 2006.
Director Tim Cullimore does not think that there are problems with security. “The stronger our security, the more violent the gangsters will get.”
