Brussel-Zuid evacuated

BRUSSELS – The Brussel-Zuid train station was entirely evacuated after a bomb alert this morning.

A phone call reporting a bomb was received after 10 a.m. The station was evacuated and searched. The station was reopened at 10.50 a.m.

Train traffic was stopped for 18 minutes, says a spokesperson for Infrabel. The situation is now back to normal.
