Boy pricks finger on discarded syringe

A 6-year-old boy in Antwerp has pricked his finger on a syringe, possibly from a drug user. The incident happened in the garden of the Stuyvenberg hospital, where the child was visiting a patient with his parents. He picked up the syringe when he was playing. His parents fear that their son has now become infected with hepatitis or HIV and have reported the incident to the police.
