BRUSSELS – The local police in Bergen joined forces with federal police to search classrooms at the university of Bergen-Henegouwen (Université Mons Hainaut – UMH) at about 7.30 am on Tuesday morning.
The search came after an anonymous caller reported there was a bomb on the site.
The police said the seriousness of the threat was “limited,” but the authorities did not want to take any chances.
Some thirty officers were called in. The search was to continue all day. An investigation was also started into the anonymous caller.
