BRUSSELS – The average employee in Belgium only works 10 percent of his or her life, revealed a web magazine on Wednesday.
The latest version of VDAB reported that a worker is at his or her post for an average of 39 hours a week or 1,600 hours a year, for about 37 years.
That means just 10 percent of a Belgian’s entire life is spent at work.
