Belgium braced for ‘Great Storm’

VRT’s weatherwoman Sabine Haeghendoren says "rain clouds are crossing Belgium from west to east. This can lead to torrential rain in places. Thundery showers may occur this afternoon. The south-westerly wind is gaining strength. Gusts of up to 100 km/h may occur inland."

Sabine urges people to be careful and warns that damage may occur. Highs around 14° C. Tonight too will be gusty with powerful, thundery showers.
