Naked wrestling ‘was voluntary’

A Wallonian couple has denied that anyone was forced to participate in the topless wrestling matches recently organised at a Rochefort school. The man and woman also deny underage youths were involved. The Dinant public prosecution office is investigating the case, but no one has been officially charged. The couple’s lawyer has since warned they will demand damages from public broadcaster RTBF, which pointed an accusing finger at the man and woman on Wednesday night.

Man survives spectacular crash

A 23-year-old man survived a spectacular crash on Wednesday night after his car was catapulted 3 metres into the air and collided with the roof gutter of a Koksijde house. The man had earlier lost control of the car, which hit a tree before being thrown into the air. The car landed on its roof in the house garden and the driver climbed to safety from the car wreck. He was taken to hospital with relatively minor injuries.
