BAGHDAD, May 27, 2009 (AFP) – Belgian Foreign Minister Karel De Gucht arrived on a surprise visit to Iraq on Wednesday, state television Al-Iraqiya announced.
No details were given on his visit. Belgium does not have an ambassador in Baghdad but a charge d’affaires operates from Amman.
