The figures come from a study carried out by a Dutch travel website.
The site compared parking tariffs at 5 Dutch, 4 Belgian and 6 German airports. The tariff for a couple of days car-parking was compared as was the tariff for 3 weeks.
The average for Belgium as a whole was inflated by the relatively high cost of parking at Zaventem Airport near Brussels and Charleroi Airport (Hainaut). Elsewhere, car-parking at Antwerp’s Deurne Airport is actually free.
The average cost of parking was lowest at the German airports surveyed.
