BRUSSELS – Belgian banks will be closed this Friday for Easter and will
remain shut until Tuesday.

The European Central Bank has warned customers to do all necessary
transactions before Friday, and that cheques and debits will not be
processed over these four days.

This also means any transactions done on Friday over the internet will not
be processed till Tuesday.

Other banking functions will remain in operation, including ATM machines,
Bancontact and self-bank.

Cash machines may, however, run dry over the weekend, especially if the
weather is sunny.

Stock exchanges will also be closed this weekend.
